Got inspection done here, told me I needed brakes, rotors, and calipers. Just got those done and got car inspected at Lexus and it passed for those things just not the frame. Very frustrating
I can understand the frustration when it comes to vehicle expenses. It is also frustrating when you get 2 different inspection reports from 2 different shops. If these conditions were there when Lexus inspected it, then unfortunately they did not perform a proper inspection of the vehicle. This is no fault of ours for finding the items required by PA for safety regulations. If Lexus told you that they replaced all your brakes then they unfortunately lied to you. Also it has been 6-7 months since you had the inspection done at Lexus, it is possible that these faults occurred in that timeframe, especially the pads separating if a caliper piston went bad. Your rear pads and rotors are like new and there is no fault there so I presume that Lexus serviced your rear brake system. Your front brake system was not replaced, at all, and again the reason the front brakes fail is because they are starting to split apart, and there is 1 caliper piston that is seized and not moving. If you bring the vehicle back, I would be more than happy to get the vehicle on a lift and show you.
